comment ! comment ! comment !



On this day, Miss Zu ask us to open our blog and we must give a comment to all of our classmate blog and she will all of check our comments. We must give at least one comment to others blog. Besides, she also ask us to follow all of our classmates blog and give her link of our blog. I also give a comments to my friends but I am not finished yet. Hee. Actually, I didnt understand very well to comment each entry of others or only comment about our CHOOSING  TOPIC ON REPORT WRITING entry. so I decided to comment CHOOSING TOPIC ON REPORT WRITING entry and others entry that I feel intresting to read. We only did a comments of others blog during our class time. After an hours, Miss Zu ask us to stop and class will be finished. Before class finished, she was remind us to give a comments to others entry and she will check as soon as possible. Our class was finished with tasbih kifarah J      

the differencess between facts and opinion

Hi my are you today? Today I want to write about what was happen on 10th January 2013.  On this Tuesday, we have learned about facts and opinion. Miss Zu tought us what is the differences  between facts and opinion. Before that, I really regret because, I  didn’t copy Miss Zu slide about the facts and opinion. The slide has a lot of explaination and example about the facts and opinion. I don’t have any example to shows because, in the text book also dint have the title about the facts and the opinion. emmm…but nevermind..hopefully I can find all of these from the internet or references book. Back to the topic of facts and opinion.

facts…FACTS is specific details. It can be proven  based on the objective evidence. We always can find the facts in our lives for example is, OUR FIRST PRIME MINISTER WAS TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN. It was the facts because it can be proven from the history of administration of Malaysia. Facts always shows the reality that was happened or something that will happen. It also have their objective and cannot be changes or cannot be add by something.  

While OPINION is, the feeling of judgement, believe or conclusion that cannot be proven and also only one of the ways to attracts people about something. It is only subjective that cannot be verified and something that we suggest. For example is,I DON’T LIKE EAT CHOCOLATE BECAUSE IT CAN MAKE ME BECOME FAT. Besides, it is based on people feelings and it is more to the emotions and it is not necessarily  true.
To make you more understand, I will shows you more example to differentiate between facts and opinion.

Students in UITM must wear formal clothes on Monday and Friday.
She always wear the baju kurung when go to the class because she was feeling very polite
Nasi lemak and roti canai contains many of cholesterol.
Nasi lemak and roti canai contains many of cholesterol that can make peoples become fat if they eat to much.
The house was painted on 19 november 2012.

To make sure that we were more understand, Miss Zu make a game about facts and opinion. we are separate into of 4 groups. Each groups have been given some product and my group got a Santan   product. We must find the facts about the products and the opinion about the products. The facts of my products is, it was produced at……. And The company of the product was established at 1982. The prices of the product is Rm2.50. The opinion is…the product is more delicious than other products. Another one opinion, I am forgot because I didn’t write the point at all. Sorry okay.hehe. After we list all the opinion and the facts of our products, we need to present it infront of our class and another groups need to guess which one of  the point is opinion and which one is facts. Miss Zu will gave marks if any person of the groups answer the question with correctly. So, I am really proud because my group was one of the winner in this game. Huhu. After we finished play the game…our class was finished J

choosing for the topic writing!



Today our class is at DSP. We need to bring our laptop together because we need to do our blog in our class. Before we did our blog, my friends sarah and syafika do their presentation for report writing, this is because they didnt find the suitable topic again. Actually, i felt very pity with them because every bel class they did the same thing. After they finish their presentation, Miss ask us to open our blog. Unfortunately,most of us cannot connect the wifi uitm. I didnt know why. So because of that,Miss Zu said, we need to go to the library to connect the wifi PERPUSTAKAAN TUN DOKTOR ISMAIL. Before we went to the library,Miss Zu was told us to post about the choosing topic for our term paper. I still remember the situation when we need to choose our topic for term paper. It was very difficult than what i tought. I thought we just need to find the best topic that we want to do but,we also need to find at least five materials for our topic and the material that we have to find is journal from online database uitm. Other than that, we need to use news paper online or news paper original,magazine and article online. In my group, we have three partners. Each one of us, need to find atleast two topic. My partners is syafika and hakimah laiyinah. Topic of syafika is the advantages of siswa card for university student. While hakimah laiyinah is about news in gaza palestin and early marriage among under age teenagers and me choose the topic violence among woman and financial management among university students. After we discussed with Miss Zu, she cant execpt my topic and syafika but she except one of hakimah topic. Which are, early marriage among under age teenagers. We felt very grateful because our topic has been accepted with easily. Alhamdulillah. We choose the causes and effects types of essays because we thought it can be more easy for us to find the point for our topic.  After that, we need to did our topic choosen in a terms of broad topic, focus topic and narrowed topic.

 On the next day, we need to present our topic and also explained why we choose this topic and we must make sure every topic that we choose can be find in the journals. Some of us cannot present very well and they didnt gave a good reason why they choose that topic. So ,some of topic of my friends has been rejected by Miss Zu. We also need to shows our materials and shows our point. We actually find only 3 materials which are from news straits times,article online, and also journal from online database uitm. We are the last partners that are present in our class. Actually, Miss Zu looked very   disappointed with all of our classmates presentation. She said our presentation such a suck. Ohh! It make me felt very nervous to present and at the same time, hakimah didint came to the class because she got mc. So we choose to be the last partners to present and grateful our topic has been accepted. I am felt very happy seriously! Next is, we need to do a box of our bibiliography of our materials. As you can see below J

 And the next step we need to do is, we must told atirah(my classmate) about our topic and the types of essays that we confirm to do. Maybe after this we will start to do our report writing. I hope my partners and i can give the best writing in our report writing and i also hope that we can get highest mark in our assignment! Wish me luck ok J

main ideas



on this wednesday, my class was at is very far from my college okey. our class was at laboratory of computer. first thing we need to did when arrived iss..Miss Zu ask us to open the quiz online. she gave us a few minute to done with that. after done, she tougth us about main ideas. she gave us a sentences, than we need to find the main ideas and the topic sentences and we need to did our own main ideas with the information given.

for example:  
there are many function of area code in a different countries.
college and university sport team nick name.
some are unusual.

my own words is: 
some of college and university sport team sometimes use strange nickname.

besides, Miss Zu also us video songs to make me more understand. she shows us some video songs and ask us to the main ideas of the video's. this is very interesting learning skill. at 6 p.m our class was finished with tasbih kifarah :)  

summarising :)


on this day, we have learned about summarising. what is the difference between a pharaphrase and a summary?
a summary is a reproduction of a passage using fewer words. when you retell a story that someone has told you, you repeat the story in your own words. if your retelling is about the same length as the original story,it is a paraphrase. if you shorten the story by retelling only the most important points and leaving out the details you are summarising. the guidlines for summarising is..before we start writing,we need to understand what it is. essentially  summary is about one-third of the original text, keeps the main ideas, and acknowledges the sources of the text.
a good introductory sentences for a summary should include the following of the title of the  article, the name of the authors and the author's thesis statement or main idea. we also learned about MIDA concept. M is main idea identify from topic sentences( if theree is one) or use BASIC SIGNAL WORDS. I is identify supporting details. D is diregard unimportant informations. the last one is A..but i'm so sorry, i forget about defination of A. hee. after Miss Zu explain abour summarising for an hours...our class were dismiss early because Miss Zu has a meeting.

on this day, we have learned about paraphrasing. did you know about paraphrasing? paraphrasing means expressing someone else's ideas using your own words. it is a way of presenting a text using different words and phrases without changing  its original meaning. this skill is necessary when you write papers based on research. when parapharasing,you need to mention the author's name so that your readers know that you are actually discussing someone else's ideas, and not your own. this is also one of the way how to avoide plagiarism.

for example:
some businessman believe that the location of the office building plays an important role in deciding their fortune.Salim Radzi, the business link(2007)

when change to the paraphrasing:
to some enterpreneurs,one key factor that determines their fortune is where their office is situated (Salim,2007) 

the guidlines for paraphrasing is,we should retain the original meaning of the text. we cannot change the meaning if we change the word of sentences. we also must change the grammar and sentence structures. for example, break up one long sentence into two(or more) shorter ones or combine two short sentence into one. make sure we use synonyms where appropriate and use a good dictionary to look for suitable synonyms,but make sure the meaning is according to the context. the most important is, make sure your sentence will be cite from the original sources.

after Miss Zu finished explained all about the paraphrasing. she give us an excercise to did at room and she will check for the next tuesday. at 4 pm our classed were dismissed with tasbih kifarah :)

we really do not want to present !


today,all of our classmate must shows the topic that we have chooses for our report writing. so, one by one of my classmates shows their topic to Miss Zu. Some of our topic has been rejected by Miss Zu. this is because,some of the topic that they have choosen are to comman and not enough material to use. my friends shows many intresting topic but not all of the topic can be excepted. for those who are their topic has been rejected, they need to find another topic and shows again to Mis Zu. actually, syafika and i didnt want to present today. we always keep quiet when Miss Zu ask any partners to present. this is because we felt not ready and not brave enough to present. we afraid if, Miss Zu ask many question to us and we cannot answer it well. Besides,one of our group members was absent so, we not have enough materials to show. syafika and i wait and wait and hopefully class will finish without our presentation. Unfortunately, we have to present for the last minute because Miss Zu want our class to finish all of our presentation today. i am really nervous to present but alhamdulillah, finally our topic was excepted!!! we were really happy! because Miss Zu did not ask a lot of question. So it was easy for me to answer. hee. after all of us finished, our class were finish with tasbih kifarah:)
